Yellow String Quartet
The Yellow String Quartet was founded in 2011 by Fried Dähn, cellist, composer and principal cellist of the Wuerttemberg Philharmonic Orchestra. The quartet’s line-up features the finest members of the Wuerttemberg Philharmonic Orchestra: concertmaster Timo de Leo, violinist Konrad Balik and principal violist Benjamin Hartung. The innovative Ensemble has no boundaries concerning the music they perform. From classical pieces to contemporary music, from medieval to avantgarde: The quartet carefully selects and combines pieces of all genres creating extraordinary and expressive performances.
